With being creative from a young age, painting and making art has always been part of me. After graduating with a (BA) Textile Design my artistic style being a printed textile designer has led me to where I am today. The penny only dropped when I changed from Fine Art to a Textile course at college.. discovering my paintings can translate into seamless pattern designs, which can be made into fashion, interior, stationary products and more! This unlocked a new door for me and it was super exciting.
I am originally from the UK and I have worked as a print designer for the past 2 years, which has led me to work in a studio in Los Angeles and now I am currently on my travels around Australia. I am passionate about creating beautiful, seamless print designs that connect with users. Within my work I am very versatile, this allows me to adapt to new briefs and current trends. I have experience designing different styles & themes such as; floral & fauna, boho, paisley, batik, conversational, tropical, florals, geos. I can create one-of-a-kind custom pattern designs for your brand, bringing your initial ideas to life for your perfect customer!
I specialise in hand painting and digital drawing techniques and I take inspiration from my surroundings and travels. I experiment with mediums such as; acrylic paint, watercolour, gouache, and drawing on my iPad. I create unique designs suitable for many outcomes, I am always open to new ideas and creations for my work. As well as print design, I have also worked on custom wall murals, designed wedding invites, menus, pet portraits and finally worked on my own brand with home & staionary products.
I feel privileged to create as a job, there as so many opportunities out there within being an artist and I am excited to see what the future holds!
